Braven Travels Across Minnesota for Ragnar Relay Great River

Ragnar Relay Great River is a realy race that pushes teams to run just over 200 miles across Minnesota. Teams run non-stop, and have only two days to cover the massive course.

As the official audio sponsor of Ragnar, we were there in full force, blasting music from the BRV-XXL, getting mobile with Braven 105 speakers and getting teams pumped up for the extensive trek.

The race kicked off with a pre-run party Thursday night at the start line in Winona. Here, participants got a chance to discuss their race strategy, and most importantly, fine tune their race attire.

At the Braven booth, we where showing off the BRV-XXL and 105. Being an ultra lightweight speaker that easily attaches to runner packs, belts, or bags, the Braven 105 was a big hit with Ragnar participants.

In the early hours of Friday morning, teams ran across the starting line, beginning the first leg of the 200 mile journey from Winona to Minneapolis.

Ragnar Starting Line

The 200 mile course is divided into 36 legs. At each leg, team members hand off their bracelets to a fellow teammate. In total, each team member runs anywhere from 15, to 30 plus miles, depending on whether they have a six or twelve member team.

Ragnar participants all had the chance to enter a daily raffle for a new Braven 105. We found this runners belt from Nathan Sports was the perfect match: hydration + music = all you need.
